We started out with a vision to provide travelers with a holistic experience of life in the mountains. Over a period of time, it has evolved into a much more elaborate offering. Since no two travelers have similar tastes, we’ve designed a campus that caters to the needs of varied audiences.
Spread across a sprawling 10.5 acres right at the heart of Kotagiri, Chow Chow is perched right atop the valley. Offering a stunning bird’s-eye-view of the countryside, you are bound to feel overwhelmed by the pristine beauty.
Chow Chow derives its name from the ‘Chow Chow’ vegetable, also known as Chayote or Bangalore Brinjal. A part of the gourd family Cucurbitaceae, it is rich in water content akin to cucumbers & watermelons. Commonly referred to as ‘Maerakkai’ down South, it’s commonly used in pickles & salads, adding a new flavor to stimulate your taste buds. Over 7 acres of the resort have been allocated for growing the vegetable. Surrounded otherwise by tea estates, experiencing the plantation is a unique affair.
